 FACT: After exercise, and whilst your dog is resting, his body’s healing process takes over and strips away any damaged tissue which has suffered micro-damage and replaces it with stronger tissue. This is called the repair process, resulting in your dog having stronger bones and soft tissue structures for the next time you exercise him.
FACT: Dogs which are wet and not dried properly can suffer problems as the repair process never fully completes before the next period of exercise and, in these circumstances, the dog may become stiff and sore and show other symptoms of discomfort. Dogs prone to Arthritis and Hip Dysplasia are at risk.
If your dog is wet or cold, give him an enthusiastic rub down to get his circulation going and put on his towelling coat to keep his muscles warm.

Measurement Guide...
How do I measure my dog?
A = from the base of the neck to the base of the tail
B = from the centre of the chest along the body to the base of the tail
C = from between the shoulder blades, to about an inch below chest depth (hold tape as the coat would hang straight)
D = circumference of neck (where the collar is worn)
G = total measurement of girth at chest (the circumference of the girth)
